It’s Day 3 of my 12 Days of Christmas series and I would like to share my latest project with y’all. I made a little Christmas terrarium that only cost me $10 to complete! You may my inspiration post from last week featuring a similar terrarium surrounded by vintage deer. I am still searching for the deer but am happy with the results for now. This was such an easy project that I may just make a few more. Hope some of you can give it a try!
I gathered all my supplies: a glass apothecary jar I snagged up with a 50% off coupon at Michael’s, bottle brush trees and tiny figurines all from the dollar tree. Not pictured: a bag of sugar to act as snow.
I poured in enough sugar to make sure the trees and figurines could stand upright, so about a third of the way.
Next I simply placed the trees and the little snowman inside, pushing the bottoms into the sugar to give them some stability.
For now, this snowman has been travelling around my living room, looking for a permanent home. Once that is found, I’ll be sure to update you all. This was such an easy project, with instant gratification (my favorite). I hope some of you can give it a try.
Also, I’d like to apologize for not posting this on Friday. I was sick and didn’t do much but we should be back to our regular schedule this week!
What has you excited for the holidays?
